The Federal Scholarship Tax Credit (FSTC) Collaboration and Consultancy workshop is being held so that stakeholders from across the charter school community have time and space to prepare for FSTC implementation. The room will be set up with tables so that participants can meet with FSTC experts in residence or collaborate with other groups interested in implementation. NAPCS will ensure a range of legal, operational, and financial experts are available to provide guidance on the new program so that charter schools are prepared to offer excellent services to students on day one.

National Alliance

Katherine (Katie) Burke is the senior director of policy with the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. Prior to joining the National Alliance, Katie spent over eight years at the DC Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB), the District’s charter school authorizer. Katie earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Boston University, specializing in Social Studies Education, and she graduated magna cum laude from Colby College.
