The anti-college narrative has gained momentum in recent years, often intersecting with discussions within the charter school movement. Yet, data consistently affirms that a college degree remains a powerful catalyst for financial stability, career advancement, and long-term wealth-building. As leaders in the charter school sector, it is essential to critically assess this narrative and reaffirm the value of higher education for our students. This session will focus on how we can effectively advocate for college access and success, ensuring our schools continue to provide students with the opportunities they deserve. We will explore strategies to dispel misconceptions, engage families in meaningful conversations, and strengthen our commitment to postsecondary pathways. Join us as we reshape the dialogue, using data and leadership to champion college as a crucial driver of economic and social mobility—the foundation for multi-generational change.
