Reimagine and Reinvigorate Your Board: Cultivating a Thriving Culture
Reimagine and Reinvigorate Your Board: Cultivating a Thriving Culture
,
BCEC, Meeting Room 204B
Are you having difficulty keeping your board engaged or recruiting new board members? How can you make your board work more appealing to potential candidates? We’ve found that building a dynamic and engaged governance culture starts with having the right systems and processes in place to recruit, train, and leverage the expertise and collective influence of your board members. In today's increasingly digital and individualistic world, your board can become a ‘third place’ for trustees, offering valuable opportunities for social interaction, community support, and a sense of belonging. In turn, they can contribute to building strong communities and fostering civic engagement. In this collaborative session led by BoardOnTrack staff and leaders from Kairos Academies, we will identify some of the best practices of charter school boards and how you can nurture your board and create a thriving board culture.
